CBT CENTER for ANXIETY & OCD
1) 'GOALS' SUPPORT GROUP FOR ADULTS WITH OCD
This support group is appropriate for adults (ages 18+) with OCD or Obsessive Compulsive-Related Disorders who are looking for support through this difficult process. We will discuss ERP, relapse prevention & ways to stay motivated. Members will be encouraged to identify ERP goals in group. You will have an opportunity to discuss personal experiences & challenges as well as get expert information about OCD. Getting support from others can provide hope and motivation. Members are not required to disclose information & may speak if they choose.
2) FAMILY ANXIETY/OCD SUPPORT GROUP
This support group is appropriate for family members & friends of children or adults with anxiety, OCD or Obsessive Compulsive-Related Disorders. Members will receive information regarding anxiety and OCD & support from other members. We will discuss ways to encourage & motivate your loved one in their ERP goals & how to stop participating in rituals. You will have an opportunity to discuss personal experiences & challenges as well as get expert information about OCD and anxiety.
The OCD Support Group and the Family Support Group will be held at the same time in different rooms so that all family members can meet to learn about OCD and anxiety, effective treatment, and obtain much-needed support.
WHEN: 1st & 3rd Thursday of every month
These are open groups. Members can join at any time.
TIME: 7 - 8:15pm
DONATION: $10-20 per individual/family. Please feel free to donate whatever you are able.
This helps pay for the therapist’s time.
LOCATION: (groups will be held at the same time in separate rooms)

All support groups are led by a mental health clinician.
However, it is recommended that participants be in therapy with a mental health professional.
You do not need to be a client of our Center to participate in a support group.

3)PANS/PANDAS PARENT SUPPORT GROUP
This support group is appropriate for parents of children with PANS/PANDAS. Members will exchange information on resources and helpful strategies. We will discuss ways to parent through the PANS/PANDAS experience. You will have an opportunity to discuss personal experiences and your extraordinary challenges with other understanding parents. Members will have a nonjudgmental place to express their feelings and realize they are not alone in helping their child.
WHEN: 1st Wednesday of every month
This is an open group. Members can join at any time.
