CHANGING LIVES. GIVING HOPE.
CBT CENTER for ANXIETY & OCD
We are out-of-network for all insurance companies. This means that we do not accept insurance as a form of payment. Payment is paid by the client at the time of service. We are happy to provide you with a receipt that you may submit to your insurance company to receive any out-of-network benefits you are entitled to through your insurance plan. Many people find that they receive some reimbursement from their insurance company for our services.
Please call the 1-800 number on the back of your insurance card to determine your "behavioral healthcare out-of-network benefits".
Many people may find that using an out-of-network anxiety specialist, like our clinicians at the CBT Center for Anxiety & OCD, can be a more cost effective option in the long run given that clients often experience quicker symptom reduction than when seeing a generalist who may not be trained in how to best target thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
For clients with complex or more severe anxiety/OCD or for clients who live further away and wish to work at quicker pace, the Center offers more intensive treatment options. Our team of therapists is able to provide treatment 5 days a week for multiple hours per day so that gains are made more rapidly.
For clients who need more intensive in-home practice of behavioral strategies such as exposure therapy and behavioral activation, a Behavioral Technician may be helpful in supporting the work you and your clinician are doing in the office. A Behavioral Technician can be available to work with you or your child in your home or community.
The Center offers individual outpatient therapy to children, adolescents & adults. Clinicians at the Center may also utilize family therapy as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Home and Community Based Sessions
At times, a clinician and client may agree that holding sessions in the client's home or community may be beneficial to treatment, particularly when using Exposure Therapy.
While in-person sessions are frequently the best, there are times when the use of video chat may be helpful. Video chat may be helpful when the distance to our office is prohibitive or when doing exposures in the home or community is not possible. The Center can only provide teletherapy to clients who reside in Pennsylvania.
